Free trades or free technology — based on our experience @ TradePMR, Advisors prefer the latter of the two. How about offering free technology to all of their RIAs which in the end helps grow AUM and keeps the advisors fixed costs minimal to help them maximize their gross advisory fees. What TD is doing is commendable. Offering free technology is what has set TradePMR apart from the free trade custodian bunch.
