Why exactly a $1-billion LPL advisor thinks he's the guy to buy and turn around the Phoenix Coyotes?

Please Please buy my hockey team! We have some great fans and with realignment in place the future is good for the Phoenix Coyotes!

I second that Kevin…I’m in Phx and a Coyotes fan! I think Mr. Pastor would be great for this team. So far “saying” the right things. I just can’t get too happy…we need results are far as making progress towards a sale.

Sorry, but I don’t believe Mr. Pastor’s bid will succeed. I understand he is a fan of the sport, but I don’t understand why he wasn’t interested in buying the team anytime during the past four years.
This seems more like a publicity stunt and less than a serious purchase offer, especially considering the fact the NHL is negotiating with other parties at the moment.
Sorry Coyotes fans, but the team is attracting many 'tire-kickers’ this month. Not sure if any bid will be successful based on past attempts.

It’s April, and near the end of the NHL season, and time for facts:

- the Phoenix Coyotes will not be sold to anyone who is willing to keep the team in Phoenix..

- the Coyotes will relocate at the end of this season (all options have run out)..

- George Fallar is G52PIM228.. The proof is obvious as Mr. Fallar is constantly online (gfallar on twitter), constantly trolls Canadians, and his tweets contain the same phrases as 'G52’ ..

@george – “facts”. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Maybe the Coyotes will leave, maybe not. I’ve been living with the “facts” for for years and for you to make that statement just makes you look ignorant.

One needs to remove their emotions from this discussion.. Over the past four years numerous potential buyers have suggested various purchasing strategies.. All failed..
Unfortunately, Mr. Pastor arrives too late.. His due diligence will result in the same conclusion as others before him.. And that is, he will require a generous lease agreement from Glendale, who are unable to provide financially at this time..
The NHL has stated relocation is the next step if an owner is not found soon.. Two years ago, the Atlanta Thrashers were in the same situation and had a flurry of potential owner interest during their final month of existence.. All failed..
Anyone need more facts??

“George” is among the more humorous of the legendary trolls that wish nothing more than the demise of the Phoenix Coyotes.

I’m sure he was at one time populating AZ Central’s comments sections with various kernels of purported knowledge of the situation. We all know “who’s who” and you couldn’t be more wrong about George Fallar being G52.

Perhaps poster “George” is really Georges, eh messieur?

Thank for the reply Mr. Schumi..
No, I never posted on AZ Central but did follow the rantings of the trolls from both sides of the border.. G52 was prolific but the least knowledgable and most annoying of them all.. Can’t believe he would stop posting, especially when he was so convinced on numerous occasions the team would be sold..
I’m on this site because all Coyote fans believe Mr. Pastor will be the one who finally purchases the team with the intention of staying in Glendale for the long term.. Once again, they will be disappointed.. Just as they were when Mr. Jamison and Mr. Hulsizer failed..

No, I do not wish for the demise of the Coyotes.. Just trying to be realistic surrounding all the last minute hype..
And sorry again Mr. Schumi, my name’s just George, like your local cult hero Mr. Fallar..

Hey George,

There is a LOT of misinformation on both sides of the Coyotes argument and I don’t think there is a person alive that knows what the REAL truth is. I know George Fallar and if it weren’t for him and a few others the Coyotes would have been long gone long before this. ALL Coyotes fans owe George and the others an awful lot and for me personally I hope their work is rewarded with the team staying in Glendale whether it be owned by Pastor or someone else. After last season’s success the Coyotes have earned some new fans and IF/WHEN we get an owner where we can be on a level sheet of ice with the other clubs, then the sky is the limit for this organization for we finally have the right people, in the right places, at the right time. I just hope it’s not too late! Reality is they can go just as easily as they can stay and all we (Coyotes fans) can do is fight off the misinformation that so called “journalists” throw around hoping to get clicks to their blog or website. Thanks for your time and Go Coyotes!
